It's called the Bear Trap Rancher because it is built on a Steele Equi-Fit fiberglass covered bear trap tree featuring swept back swells, deep seat pocket and high cantle, which make this a popular ranch saddle for those who love to be secure in the saddle. It is available in 14", 15" or 16" seat in either rich chestnut or medium oil colors.

Bear Trap saddleGreat looking safety saddle ! I own one very much like this beauty! I have used this type of saddle and never been bucked off by wild Utah horses no matter how hard they try to buck me off. They quit bucking after they realize You Are In Control and can't be bucked off ! also safe for children !
